Greetings! I am a Professor in the Computer Science Department, Western Washington University. I completed my Ph.D. in computer science from Simon Fraser University under the supervision of Dr. Anoop Sarkar. My research broadly falls into natural language processing. My other research work involves ethics education in AI courses and application of eye-tracking data in biometrics.

• I will be the CS transfer advisor as of Fall 2023.
• Sept 8 2023: The First Workshop of Ancient Language Processing Workshop was held successfully in Varna, Bulgaria! I ran the workshop and we had a blast! A big shout out to my dear colleagues Dr. Bin Li ( Nanjing Normal University, China), Prof. Marco Carlo Passarotti (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy), Dr. Shai Gordin (Ariel University, Israel), Dr. Adam Anderson (UC Berkeley, USA) and Ms. Stav Klein (Tel Aviv University, Israel)!
• Feb 2023: Our proposal of “Ancient Language Processing Workshop” to RANLP 2023 is accepted!
• March 15-18, 2023: I will be at SIGCSE 2023 in Toronto, Canada.
• Spring 2023: I’ll be teaching CSCI 301; my office hours: TBA.
